At Clubhouse Studio

Since the late 90's, Patty remained concealed in the realm of singer-songwriting. It wasn't until February 2021 when the emotional impact of a health scare, coupled with the loss of a young family member, prompted a mindset shift that it was time to emerge from the musical shadows.

Ten months later, Patty found herself forming an instant connection with Paul Antonell, a down-to-earth studio owner and Grammy-nominated engineer. Despite lacking formal training or direction, Patty bravely entered the recording booth at Clubhouse Recording Studio armed only with her guitar and harmonica. Within a few short hours, a raw demo of "Tattered Flag" was born. Paul was taken aback by her choice of song and dubbed it a "rock star move."

Paul enlisted the expertise of renowned guitarist John Platania, known for his work with artists like Van Morrison, Don McClean, Chip Taylor, and Guy Davis. John humbly collaborated with Patty to translate her original compositions into fully realized instrumental arrangements.

Amid the whirlwind of life and conflicting schedules, it took over two years to finalize the initial six songs.  Then, in early 2024, Patty and John flushed out "Act II" and recorded the final four tracks at RAW Recording studio.  While all the OG musicians returned to contribute their artistry on the final four, the absence of the late John Regan weighed on Patty.  The idea of choosing another bassist created feelings of inner turbulence, which prompted her to pivot and incorporate an upright bass to help complete the collection.

The 2+ year journey could not conclude without the original trio's blessing.  Patty, John, and Paul had their final listen-back at Clubhouse Recording Studio before signing off on the collection for final mastering.

...after "just one last thing."

And so it is...
